Head of Content Development

Join us as the Head of Content Development to take part in shaping the direction of StemSide. You'll be leading the message put across through our platform, working hand in hand with the Editors of Primer, as well as helping with creating outreach content for our partner universities and schools. Soon, we will be releasing a podcast/newsletter, which you will have complete reign over, so having a creative mindset is key. Please also bear in mind that this key is voluntary (unpaid) as of yet.

Podcast Director

Join us as the first Podcast Director to take part in shaping the direction of StemSide. You'll have the opportunity to pioneer the start of our podcasting journey, reach out to brilliant interviewees and shape the direction using your creativity and drive. You'll work hand-in-hand with a range of members on the Executive team, helping to drive the passion for science further every day. We'd love to have someone passionate about science and diversity, with good grasp of podcasting and editing skills (or highly eager to learn them). Please also bear in mind that this key is voluntary (unpaid) as of yet.

How much time do I need to dedicate to this?

We would recommend setting aside 8 to 10 hours per week for executive roles (i.e. Head of Departments), and 3 to 5 hours per week for Honorary Members and Graphic Designers.

Nevertheless, please note that these are just estimates and some weeks may require more or less time!


In general, we will always aim to provide as much flexibility to the team because we understand that everybody is dealing with multiple responsibilities aside from StemSide.

Given the current situation with the COVID-19 pandemic, how will StemSide be operating?
