Code of Conduct

StemSide

StemSide is a social enterprise aiming to bridge the gap between under-represented and underprivileged students and higher education, with a particular focus on Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) degrees. Our values are at the core of our operations, and they drive the direction of the initiative. Explicitly, we aim to widen access by being inclusive, diverse and most importantly, collaborative. Through StemSide, the passion of science is communicated in a simple, digestible manner to ignite discussions and thoughts as well as inspire the next generation of scientists.

By registering via email or any other available third-party option, you agree to comply with the safety and inclusivity rules as listed below, as well as the data security measures detailed in the “GDPR & Data Security” found in Section 3 of this document.

  • ZERO tolerance policy. We take all bullying, harassment, homophobia, racism, and any other hate speech or action very seriously. Any member that behaves in such a manner risks a lifetime ban from StemSide, and other plausible consequences that can occur depending on the severity of the hate crime.

  • Transparent. We expect our members to be transparent in their communication with StenSide and refrain from causing malicious harm towards any assets or other members. If you witness anything suspicious, please contact us via our email stemsideco@gmail.com immediately.
